Irfan is currently a Research Fellow at RMIT. Before joining RMIT, he worked at National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore in the state-of-the-art Research Centre for Advanced 2D Materials for three years. Irfan did his PhD from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong. His research interest focused on synthesis of 2D materials (graphene, hBN, MoS2, monolayer amorphous Carbon), and application for optoelectronic, electronic, electrochemical and quantum devices. Irfan has published 40+ high Impact Journal with over 2000 citations and 4 US patent applications.
