Kyla manages the education and outreach at the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Optical Microcombs for Breakthrough Science (COMBS).

She recently completed a PhD at the University of Western Australia researching new curriculum materials for secondary students that help with the conceptual understanding of quantum physics.
