Lachie is a PhD student at Adelaide University’s Precision Measurement Group within the Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing working on rubidium optical atomic clocks in the atomic, molecular and optical physics field. His project is part of the Defence Trailblazer program and includes QuantX Labs as an industry partner, with whom he was lucky enough to undergo an internship.
